Meet the makers behind NOTMOMA, including Reynolds students that are participating in the exhibition.
Click here to learn about our next gallery exhibit Portland Museum of Modern Art Curator and Artist Libby Werbel visited Reynolds High School on Monday, February 12, 2018 to talk with the students about how to curate an installation. Libby Werbel's philosophy is very much aligned with RoCA, as she is passionate about creating more communities for art makers, and providing accessibility and equitable representation within these communities.
Student and Libby Werbel got hands on and brainstormed project ideas while she was there! Her work can be found at: https://www.libbywerbel.com/ Together with the help of Independent Students, RoCA staff planned, prepared, and painted a summer installation for summer using found records, watercolor, acrylic, and tape. A loose, inspiring collaboration, and diving board into summer fun.
